I had been seeing a lot of Instagram and Facebook pages selling clothes, jewelry, watches and other things. Most of them operate an e-commerce website. How hard or easy it is to start such a business? Do we really need some excel business skills? Just curious about this :D

My friend had an instagram page with the items that you mentioned and it was going on very well.. and later they decided to open a website too.. they had their products listed and took the help of a website developer :high5: and they get orders and they courier stuff :high5: :high5: do start it, you would get a hang of it step by step :high5: :high5: if it is only instagram, they open a business page, list your items, they will DM you whatever they want, ask for payment via neft or cash on delivery… for cash on delivery do a tie-up with a courier company who would handle your day to day couriers and it is sorted :high5:

Agree with Saloni. Also for promotions, they send samples of their products to famous YouTubers and bloggers who usually post them and provide shoutouts. I’ve discovered a lot of Instagram pages that way. This gives them a bigger reach, as chances are a lot of people will atleast visit the page if not purchase something.

Earth without art is just 'Eh'.

Instagram and Facebook. These two are must to make sure your business has a wide reach. You can sell your stuff on Amazon as well, but too many formalities.

Make sure to win the trust of your followers and customers.

It is easy to open a business; the hard part is running and maintaining it. One must have a definite set of skills to run a business like communication skills, multitasking, leadership qualities, dedication, consistency, etc.

Any business, online or offline, needs hard work.
